Tax forms available at the library
Select federal and state tax forms are now available at the Mercer Public Library. Stop in during our normal business hours to pick up the forms you need for preparing your returns or for your homestead credit filing. We are open Mon, Wed, Fri 9-5; Tues, Thurs 9-6; and Sat 9-12.

The Mercer Library is referring people to MyFreeTaxes as a legitimate way to file your returns with no hidden costs and with the added benefit of access to a Helpline for questions. MyFreeTaxes is available nationwide with no income or age restrictions. It is designed for people to file their own returns.
The software is powered by TaxSlayer, which guarantees that returns are 100% accurate. Library staff are unable to provide assistance with entering tax returns or providing tax advice, but we believe MyFreeTaxes to be a useful resource for our library patrons.
